Las muestras botánicas pasan por un proceso de diversas actividades tales como: colecta y preservado de muestras, identificación taxonómica, montaje, elaboración de fichas botánicas, elaboración de fólderes, tratamiento fitosanitario, incorporación de los especímenes botánicos a los armarios y digitalización de especímenes. El Herbario Forestal es reconocido por SERFOR como una Institución Científica depositaria de material biológico desde el año 2016.</span></p>
